Have you ever been to a deserted railway station?  Where you are welcomed to the thick darkness, the rustle of the leaves, the sound of the beetles and the gleaming light of the train visible from a distance.  But as the light comes to you, you realize that it is not the light of the train, but two twinkling eyes, which have come very close to you… very close… Not a little fear?  Think, what will you do if this happens to you?  That is why it is very important to know about these 11 haunted railway stations…

 1. Rabindra Sarobar Metro Station, India

 Kolkata is the oldest in our country.  Regarding the Rabindra Sarobar Metro station here, it is believed that this station is ghostly.  People here have claimed to see some unknown shadow here at night.  Every night at 10:30, when the last metro leaves from this station, the shadow is found on the railway track waiting for someone.

2. Addiscombe Railway Station, England

 This station was closed in 2009 due to its ghostly exploits. It is said that many ghosts have been seen at this station.  An engine driver had committed suicide at this station, after which many people saw his ghost while coming.  Even today, on the road close to this station, people see the ghost of that driver.

 3. Caobao Road Subway Station, China

 China's Caobao Road subway station, in itself, claims to be the world's most haunted station.  Kaobao Road subway station is built on line 1 of the Shanghai subway station.  Here the train breaks down at night.  People also see the shadow of the ghost.  At this station, some people have died after being hit by a train due to shock.  It is said that these people also join them.

 4. Begunkodor Train Station, India

 Begunkodor station is located 50 km from Purulia.  Also known as Bhootiya Purulia Station.  In 1967, a station worker here saw a woman in a white sari after which she died.  Since then, this station was closed and remained deserted.  But in 2009 Mamta Banerjee opened this station, saying that she does not believe in ghosts.  But even after that, there have been many accidents here due to which people are afraid of passing through here tonight.  Kaobao Road Subway Station, China

 It is probably the most haunted station in the world.  Kaobao Road subway station is built on line 1 of the Shanghai subway station.  Sometimes the train gets spoiled here.  So sometimes ghosts are also seen in the night.  Some people have also died due to shock.

 5. Panteones Metro Station, Mexico

 Pantone's, the world's notorious metro station on Line 2 of Mexico City.  This station is situated near two cemeteries.  At night I hear the screaming of humans from the tunnels of these tombs.  Some people have also seen dangerous shadows here which suddenly disappear.  The sound of someone walking through the walls can also be heard here.

 6. Waterfront Station, Canada

 This building is the most haunted building in Vancouver, but at the same time it is also a very important junction because people change trains from this station to go somewhere.  The guards of this station have seen the shadow of ghosts in the night.  The ghost of a railway worker is also seen here on the track.

 7. Bishan MRT Station, Singapore

 If you are not scared yet, read about this station.  This Singapore station is located at Bi Shan Teng Cemetery.  When this station opened in 1987, ghostly acts started here since then.  Some women talked about being caught with invisible hands, some even looked at the head.  The most frightening was when Manzar heard the sound of someone walking on the roof of the train.

8. Macquarie Fields Train Station, Australia

 There is a limit at this station.  Here the ghost of a young girl roams.  Whose body is soaked in blood.  Many have heard the sound of her screaming and her scream keeps pounding.  When she is not screaming, then her shadow sits on the platform, looking angrily towards the track.

 9. Connolly Station, Ireland

 This is a station which is very important for the Dublin railway network. In the second world war, this station was damaged and fell.  Under which many people died.  Shortly after this Hajse, news of ghost sightings started coming here.

 10. Union Station, Phoenix, USA

 Union Station, Phoenix, America Station was closed in 1995.  There is a ghost here in the attic whom railway employees affectionately call 'Fred'.  Nobody goes to the room where Fred's ghost lives.  People have seen Fred running away from the railway staff.

 11. Glen Eden Railway Station, New Zealand

 The reason for starting this station was to bring dead bodies to their family.  After the renovation of this station in 2011, a café opened here where a shadow is seen.  Alec MacFarlane was a railway worker here who died in an accident in 1924.  Many people have seen the ghost of Alec in that café.
